ARYSHIRE
Ayrshire is a cattle breed raised purposely for milk production which was originated from Ayrshire in
South Scotland. These cattle generally have brown and white patches.
Ayrshire milk is referred as “the ideal drinking milk”,
it is not excessively rich, not lacking adequate fat and it possesses desirable quantities of protein

They can produce more than 15 litres of milk per day

They have good udder characteristics esp. good symmetry and well attachment.
More nervous than other breed i.e. they are strong, vigorous and good grazers.
